Central Mailing Services Invests In New Digital Printer

Our New Digital Printer:

Central Mailing Services have recently invested in a Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro C5501 new digital printer. This dramatically enhances our personalised colour printing capability.

It will allow, full colour, high quality, short run print jobs to be produced in-house. Because of this, turnaround times have significantly decreased and quality control is increased.

The C5501 is capable of printing onto all types of paper; glossy, matt & silk, up to a weight of 350gsm. This will allow for the printing of anything from full colour Flyers to Postcards, Newsletters to Posters & even A5 Booklets too.

Why the new investment?

The demand for high quality, personalised direct mail rises. To solve this, Central Mailing Services has invested in this new digital printing technology to ensure they stay ahead of the game. Saving customers time & money is at the heart of everything, and now with the latest investment, customers can save much more.

The ability to offer super-fast turn around times on mail fulfilment means customers can safely meet crucial deadlines. Internal press checks and proofing ensures error free work in the quickest time frame possible.

Not only does this change personalisation; it is also be environmentally sustainable, as it does not require print film, plate-making chemicals or synthetic proofing materials. In addition to this, all toner cartridges and excess paper waste are recycled to ISO14001 standards.

We currently run six other printers in our print suite; a Domino K150 inkjet printer, an AstroJet inkjet, 3x High Speed Konica Minolta mono printers & a Konica Minolta Full Colour proofing machine. In addition to these, we have a wide range of finishing equipment including guillotine’s, booklet makers & cross folders.

After moving to a larger premises to cope with increasing demands, CMS has continued to grow month on month. More mailings are being processed than ever before. Thus creating more jobs in the local area as we expand our workforce.
