CMS Invest in Recycling Machinery

At Central Mailing Services we are always looking for new ways to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.

We regularly review our processes and invest in green machinery and technologies.

The latest addition to our plant is a plastic waste baler. This new unit is with us on a short-term lease, with the option to buy.

The baler works by compressing large quantities of plastic waste into compact plastic bales ready for recycling.

These compressed plastic bales are far easier to handle and store than other alternatives. Previously plastic waste was stored in bags prior to recycling. This consumed a great deal of time and space. The new bales take up less room and can be transported more easily, reducing the number of vehicles on the roads as well as being easier to recycle at the plant.
