CMS Invest in New Machine Feeders

At CMS we are always looking to invest in our staff, technologies and equipment.

It’s part of our ongoing commitment to giving our customers the best possible service.

Our latest edition is an investment in our print and fulfilment operations; We’ve purchased a number of new feeders, including a Streamfeeder Reliant 2700.

These feeders will help us manage more difficult mail items as well as improve the overall efficiency of the production process.

Feeders are used to improve the operational efficiency of conveyor belts used in the production process. They enable more precise control of the number of items being processed on the line, the speed at which they are added as well as the orientation of the mail item. Trigger sensors help automate the process and reduce the number of operators required to process mailings.

Using feeders can help minimise jams, disruptions and errors and provides more precise control for machine operators.

Having automated feeders on each line allows us to process a greater volume of mail items faster and more accurately.
