Full Steam Ahead!

2014 has certainly been a year of change for Central Mailing Services. We moved into a new home, invested in new machinery, created local jobs & are putting more work through our production centre than ever before. Full steam ahead for 2015!
Most incredibly, we’ve achieved all of this despite popular belief that the industry is facing a decline in volume. If you ask us, we’ll tell you it’s never been stronger. In fact, our production facility continues to mail out over 1.5 million items a month. Whether it is to homes, schools or businesses both nationally & internationally, there has been no point throughout the year that we’d call a ‘quiet period’.
Big name brands such as Foxes Biscuits, The Sea Life Centre, Laura Ashley & Lego Star Wars have all made use of our production capabilities this year, providing us with excellent feedback with regards to our fast turn around times and our ability to adapt to their ever changing needs.

To top things off!

We currently have plans in place to expand even further. The purchase of an additional camera assisted envelope-enclosing machine has enabled us to stay on top of increasing demands. In addition to this, within our printing department, the installation of a state of the art digital printer has been carried out. Thus providing us with the ability to offer our customers high quality print equal to that of Litho print. The Konica Bizhub Pro C5501 is capable of printing onto all types of paper; glossy, matt, silk, up to a weight of 350gsm. Last but not least, we’re in the process of adding 2 Morgana cross folders. These are capable of folding up to 200gsm stock at high speeds.
We run an “open doors” policy here where our clients are free to pop in at anytime for a coffee. This gives them the chance to observe every stage of their mailing, from data processing, printing, enclosing & even final despatch.
