Central Mailing Services is one of only a very select number of Mailing Houses in the country to be certified by the Royal Mail Strategic Mailing Partnership and Partners in Quality.

Understandably, we’re very proud of that fact – but what does it mean for our customers?

Essentially, it’s a reflection of our ability and dedication to providing quality services to our customers. On applying for membership of the Royal Mail Partners in Quality scheme, we signed strict terms and conditions that set out the high standards of mail preparation that must be achieved – standards we are committed to maintain.

The Royal Mail Partners in Quality Scheme is a partnership between Royal Mail and mailing houses with the prime aim of producing high quality mail and improved service for customers. The scheme looks to encourage adoption of standards that improve the quality of mail in the market, drive up operational efficiency and encourage the growth in the usage of mail.

Another aspect of the scheme is that we are putting in place environmental policies to limit the effects on the environment of preparing mailings. Environmental and sustainability issues are quite rightly becoming central to business decisions and strategies. As such, this element of the scheme intends to pre-empt any environmental challenges by demonstrating good practice.

Meanwhile, our membership of the Royal Mail Strategic Mailing Partnership means that we are in a unique position to be able to shape the future of the mailing house industry. Communications between Royal Mail and members of the Strategic Mailing Partnership are regular, with two-way dialogue geared to ensuring that issues important to both the industry and its consumers are understood and dealt with.

Alongside our ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications for Quality Management Systems, Data Protection Act Membership and Environmental Management, (Incidentally we are one of only 1 in 9 mailing houses in the county that carry this combination of certifications.) our partnership with Royal Mail perfectly demonstrates our high standards in providing mailing services for customers.
