Rules For Sending Aerosols In The Post

New rules have recently been introduced that state that the maximum size of aerosols sent via post has increased from 350ml to 500ml, while permitted aerosols are now defined as ‘toiletries and medicinal’. Previously, the specified categories were ‘deodorants, body sprays, hair sprays, shaving and hair removal creams, asthma inhalers etc’.

According to the British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA), the new rules are effective immediately and will include aerosols posted by private customers as well as by business customers.
