Digital & Litho Printing for Mailing Campaigns

We have an impressive Print Centre in a temperature controlled purpose built environment producing high-quality digital print to ISO 9001 Quality standards, with the ability to print 24/7. We utilise our trusted print partners for all Litho print requirements for a one stop shop solution ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Our print solutions ensure you get high-quality print on time and within budget.

We offer both digital and litho print services using a combination of our in-house Print Centre; consisting of 7 digital production printing presses complemented with high speed print finishing and a selected number of high-quality litho print partners. We also have a new Nipson Digiflex cold fusion continuous mono laser printer with a full Hunkeler finishing system.

Litho Printing Vs Digital Print

Litho printing is a form of printing that uses wet ink and printing plates, whereas digital printing uses electronic files and dots of colour to produce an image using toner. Litho print is generally more suitable for longer print runs, and digital print better for shorter runs and those with variable data. We can produce digital print to rival the quality of litho print.

Digital Print overview:

  • More cost effective for short print runs as there is less initial setup involved e.g no plates
  • Quick turnaround – no additional drying time
  • We can personalise at the same time including variable images using XMPie software
  • We can colour match & produce print quality comparable to litho printing

Litho Print overview:

  • Higher initial cost for setup e.g making printing plates
  • Cheaper cost per copy on colour generic longer runs
  • Printing not limited to four colour process – can make use of special or spot inks to enhance content
  • Longer turnaround when compared to digital print
  • Items cannot be personalised due to use of printing plates

We employ print specialists within our Client Services division who can offer advice on which printing method is most suitable, and how to best make use of your available budget.

Data Security and Certifications

We have a number of procedures in place to ensure data security for all mailings and regularly invest in staff training. In addition to our ISO 27001 certification we are Cyber Essentials certified and maintain GDPR compliance for all work.

We protect all customer data with Bitlocker, and all of our backups are protected with AES encryption. On-site we have 2 secure server rooms and all of our data is stored within the United Kingdom.

When managing customer data, we provide a secure file transfer portal (SW30) and a (secure) SFTP server to ensure security at rest and in transit.
