Sales/Client Services Administrator

Central Mailing Services are a privately owned, long established, dynamic Birmingham based mailing company, offering full campaign management from design to dispatch. The business has seen sustained growth and expansion over the last 8 years.

Outline of Role:

We are currently looking to appoint an administrator to support both our Sales and Client Services teams.

Required Skills:

  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Punctual with good time management and time keeping skills.
  • Possessing the ability to multi-task.
  • High level of communication skills are also essential.
  • Successful candidates must have experience of working in a past faced and ever-changing environment.
  • Core skills must also include computer literacy, organisation, and the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
  • Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, one-hour lunch break. 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
  • Candidates within a 30-minute commute from Erdington preferred. This is an office-based role and industry experience is not essential.

In Depth:

The individual will need to have a Minimum of GCSE English A-C, Maths A-C and be computer literate. They need to be familiar with Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The office is an extremely busy environment with no one day being the same as the next. The role can be very rewarding as you will have the opportunity to get involved with a wide variety of tasks and develop your business administration, customer relationship, and communication skills. Day-to-day duties (but not limited to):

Receptionist Duties & CS Support

  • Answering all inbound phone calls, redirecting to the correct person/handling the request if possible.
  • Answering the intercom; Signing in visitors, offering drinks on arrival.
  • General office duties – call-outs for print engineers/coffee machine, ordering stock for the coffee machine.
  • Basic cleaning tasks such as cleaning the coffee machine and emptying recycling bins.
  • Sending out Royal Mail service updates to Client Services.
  • Arranging Fed Ex deliveries/labels.
  • Maintaining filing system and continual filing of paperwork
  • Gathering job cards and paperwork from production and distributing to the relevant account manager.
  • Sending invoices via email.

Sales Support Administrator Duties

  • Formalising quotes for the external and internal sales team.
  • Purchasing, Emailing suppliers for prices on consumables (print/envelopes/boxes/couriers).
  • Running reports for Management
  • Sending out AB samples for the sales team using Royal Mail OBA or Fed Ex.

Salary is dependent on experience and skills.
